Singapore, officially the Republic of Singapore, is a Southeast Asian city-state off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula north of the equator. Singapore is considered the cleanest downtown on earth. Singapore is highly urbanised but almost half of the country is covered by greenery. As more land is being created for development through land reclamation, Singapore boasts the world's busiest port. Combining the beautiful skyscrapers and subways of a modern affluent city, with a mix of Chinese, Malay and Indian influences and a tropical climate, with tasty food, good shopping and a vibrant nightlife scene, this Garden City makes a great tourist destination.

   Singapore has a lot of attractions to offer to its visitors: from the numerous nature parks to the museums and colonial monuments and buildings. Singapore is a microcosm of Asia, populated by Chinese, Malays, Indians, and a large group of workers and expatriates from all across the globe. Two casino complexes - or Integrated Resorts opened in 2010 in Sentosa and Marina Bay as part of Singapore's new Fun and Entertainment drive. The Marina Bay Sands complex is a great piece of modern architecture and a most beautiful entertainment center.
